Soft fat vs. hard fat
I recently lost a lot of weight, and I’ve been frustrated about how soft and flabby my belly is still. I thought it meant that I hadn’t lost any fat from my belly. WRONG.
Turns out hard fat is a thing called visceral fat – it’s the fat that wraps around your internal organs and causes serious health problems.
Meanwhile, soft fat has LITTLE direct effect on your health.
Hard fat (visceral fat) is the first to go when you lose weight. Once all of this is gone, you start burning the soft, flabby fat.
So, if you’re like me and your stomach is looking squishy despite your weight loss – that’s good! Just keep at it and your soft fat will soon be gone too.
